The inner surface for the suction mount needs to be raised to provide more clearance for the gps frame.

GPS Dash mat August 22, 2010
I had quite a problem with my GPS attached to my windshield. It was distracting and I felt like it was obstructing my view. I ended up with it on my lap where it kept losing the signal. I thought it was a problem with the GPS. A friend recommended the NAV-Mat and I love it!! It doesn't slide around on the dash. It is low enough that it is not in your sight line.  Dash holder for GPS August 21, 2010
The Bracketron UFM-100-BX serves its purpose. For the most part it holds my Garmin C340, which is a bulky GPS and topples easily. If the suction cup gives way, the unit will tumble. Fortunately the few times is has, I was a passenger in the car and could catch it before it landed on the floor. That's very disconcerting if you are the driver. Other than that, I am pleased with the purchase. Therefore, the 4 stars.
